We have openings in our Two’s Program (children must be two by Sept. 1, 2026); and two spots remain in our Pre-K Program (children must be 4 by Sept. 1, 2026).
Our Threes and our Ones Programs are full but we are maintaining a waitlist. If you would still like a tour you are welcome to schedule using the email above. We would love to add you to our waitlist!

Nestled in the quiet Laurel Ridge community, Preschool At The Heights has served the Decatur, Georgia community for nearly 25 years! Our team of passionate teachers ensures that every child receives individualized attention, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social development. Through a variety of engaging activities and hands-on experiences, we cultivate curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a love for learning.
School Hours
M-F 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Office Hours
M-F 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Learn By Doing
We use their natural curiosity and eagerness to interact with the world around them.
For instance, a lesson on plant growth might involve children planting seeds in a garden, providing them with a tangible connection to the concept of growth and life cycles. As they water the plants and observe their development, these young learners not only grasp scientific principles but also develop responsibility and patience.
Similarly, basic math concepts can be taught through building blocks or cooking activities, where measuring ingredients or counting pieces becomes a playful yet effective learning experience. This approach fosters a love for learning, encourages creativity, and helps children develop fine motor skills and problem-solving abilities, setting a strong foundation for their future education.
We believe in fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages each child to explore their imagination and unleash their potential.
